These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Nestapik website and your participation in Nestapik events. By using our website or taking part in our events, you agree to these Terms.

Scope
These Terms apply to all visitors to our website and all participants in our events. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our website or reserve a place at our events.

About Nestapik and Our Services
Nestapik is an independent offline tabletop gaming club based in Newcastle, New South Wales. We host offline tabletop events as part of a recurring weekly program. That program consists of:

• Every Thursday — Cascadia
• Every Friday — Catan
• Every Saturday — Ticket to Ride
• Every Sunday — 7 Wonders

Participation fees are event fees only. There is no betting or wagering of any kind, and there are no cash prizes. Any recognition offered is non-cash, such as certificates, small trophies, board game accessories, club merchandise or club recognition.

Reservation Requests and Confirmation
Reservations are made only through the reservation form on our Tournaments & Schedule page. Submitting the form is a reservation request and does not automatically confirm your participation. A reservation is confirmed only once we have checked availability and capacity and contacted you to confirm your place, the participation fee and the event details.

Participant Eligibility and Capacity
Our events are open to participants who are able to take part appropriately in a social, in-person setting. Each event has limited capacity, and places are allocated on the basis of availability. We may decline or limit a reservation where an event is full.

Participation Fees
Participation fees apply to each event and are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD):

• Thursday — Cascadia — A$15 per participant
• Friday — Catan — A$18 per participant
• Saturday — Ticket to Ride — A$20 per participant
• Sunday — 7 Wonders — A$18 per participant

Participation fees are paid online via a secure payment link that we send to you by email once your reservation has been confirmed. No payment is taken when you submit the reservation form.
Fees are for participation in the relevant event only.

Event Schedule
Our program is designed to be consistent and recurring. From time to time, an event may need to change or may not be able to proceed. Where this happens, we will inform reserved participants as early as reasonably possible. See the Cancellation Policy below for how changes and cancellations are handled.

Participant Responsibilities and Fair Play
To keep our events enjoyable for everyone, participants agree to:

• behave respectfully towards other participants and organisers
• follow organiser instructions
• arrive on time for events
• handle games and materials carefully
• accept event rulings made by organisers
• communicate respectfully at all times

We may ask anyone who does not meet these expectations to leave an event.

Non-Cash Rewards
Where recognition is offered at an event, it is non-cash only. We do not offer cash prizes, cash rewards, jackpots, winnings or real-money rewards of any kind.

Third-Party Game Names and Trademarks
Cascadia, Catan, Ticket to Ride and 7 Wonders are referenced only to identify the games played at Nestapik events. Relevant game names and trademarks remain the property of their respective rights holders. Nestapik does not claim any official affiliation with, sponsorship by, endorsement by, licence from, or operation by the publishers or rights holders of these games.

Intellectual Property
The content of our website, including text, layout and branding (other than third-party trademarks referenced above), is owned by or licensed to Nestapik. You may not copy, reproduce or use it without our permission, except as allowed by law.

Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please review it to understand how we collect, use and protect your information.

Website Availability and External Links
We aim to keep our website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may update or change content at any time. Our website may contain links to external sites that we do not control; we are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

Cancellation Policy
This section explains how cancellations and changes work, both when you cancel and when Nestapik needs to cancel or reschedule an event. We aim to be fair and flexible, and nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

• How to cancel a reservation.
  To cancel, contact us as early as possible by phone on +61 2 4916 3367 or by email at info@nestapik.com, quoting your name and the event you reserved.
  
• Recommended cancellation notice.
  We ask that you give us at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time where possible. This helps us offer your place to someone else.
  
• Cancellation before confirmation.
  If you cancel a reservation request before we have confirmed it, there is nothing further to do — no place has been secured and, where no fee has been paid, nothing is owed.
  
• Cancellation after confirmation.
  If your reservation has been confirmed and you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as you can so we can release your place.
  
• Late cancellations.
  A late cancellation is one made with less than 24 hours’ notice. We understand that plans change and will always try to be reasonable, but late cancellations make it harder to reallocate places.
  
• No-shows.
  A no-show is a confirmed reservation where the participant does not attend and does not notify us. Repeated no-shows may affect future reservations.
  
• Paid reservations and refunds.
  Where a participation fee has been paid in advance and you cancel with reasonable notice, we will offer a refund of the fee or, if you prefer, the option to move your place to another weekly event where capacity allows. For late cancellations or no-shows, a refund may not be available, except where required under the Australian Consumer Law. Any refund due will be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable period.
  
• Changing or rescheduling your reservation.
  Where capacity permits, you may move your reservation to another weekly event (for example, from Friday — Catan to Saturday — Ticket to Ride). Note that participation fees differ between events; any difference will be adjusted accordingly. Contact us to arrange a change.
  
• Event cancellation or rescheduling by Nestapik.
  Occasionally we may need to cancel or reschedule an event — for example, due to low numbers, venue issues or circumstances beyond our control. If this happens, we will contact reserved participants as early as possible using the contact details you provided.
  
• If a scheduled event cannot proceed.
  Where an event you have paid for is cancelled by us and cannot be rescheduled to a time that suits you, you are entitled to a full refund of the participation fee paid, or the option to transfer to another weekly event. We will explain your options when we contact you.
  
• How you will be informed.
  We will notify you of any cancellation or change by phone or email, using the details on your reservation, as soon as reasonably possible.
  
• After we receive a cancellation request.
  Once we receive your cancellation request, we will confirm it and, where a refund applies, arrange it within a reasonable period. If anything is unclear, we will be in touch.

Liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, Nestapik is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or participation in our events. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

Australian Consumer Rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify those rights.

Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, emergencies, utility or venue failures, or other circumstances we could not reasonably prevent. Where such an event affects a scheduled tournament, the Cancellation Policy above applies.

Changes to Events and to These Terms
We may update our events and these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when these Terms were last revised. Continued use of our website or participation in our events after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
